Today, happy just to be by Dad's side.

School!

Last Friday was Ella's first day of "school." It is a free play class where they have arts and crafts, tons of toys, imaginitive play props, snack time, singing and lots of playtime.


Here she is putting foam hands on a piece of plexiglass. "Hands" were the theme today.

Budding Imagination

Today marks a big day in Ella's world~ She's a creative thinker!

Twice she impressed me: First at Grandma and Papa's house, she stacked several sets of two buttons, and called them "cakes" all on her own. Second, she picked up a leaf while we were waiting for Greg to get home, and shook it around in the air and said, "butterfly!"

No photos to share, the camera battery is conveniently dead. As usual. :(

Thankfully, Ella's Auntie Gillian came to visit last weekend and was able to capture some cute photos of Ella...only problem is, we weren't able to get one of the two of them! We had a great visit~ Auntie even taught Ella how to play hide-and-seek. Thanks for coming, Gill! See you in a few weeks.

Narcissism

Photos of Ella are hard to come by these days...as soon as we get out the camera, she starts demanding, "Ella, Ella, Ella, Ella-ella-ella, Ella!" Meaning, she wants to see pictures of Ella on the screen of the camera. Difficult to get a pic of her when she's on the wrong side of the camera. But, you Ella fans have been persistent in requests for an update, so here you go:
