And Now I Am 1!

Just looking pretty in my birthday dress. The weather is dreary, but our moods are cheery on Ella's big day! Granny and Grandpa Franklin are here and we're having fun...will post more photos after the visit.

Another Monday

We had a great weekend...Greg was off and the weather was great so we spent some time at the beach on Saturday and Sunday. Ella had fun playing in the waves, swimming with us, and playing with shovels and a bucket of water. On Saturday we got stuck in a downpour at the pool. Remember when it was fun to swim in the rain? Yeah, not so much anymore...but I tried to be a trooper for Ella's sake. I think she had fun, atleast she got tired out from all the activity. She even slept in until after 8 o'clock Sunday morning. I got to wake up on my own and read a book in bed for a while!

My First First Birthday Party

Ella had an early birthday party with Grandma and Papa. She had a carousel cake like her Mom had for her 5th (?) birthday.

Grandma and Papa Come to Florida

Reading her new squeaky book with Papa. Only the last page is supposed to squeak when you push on the mouse's belly. Only Ella figured out every page squeaks if she pushes on the pages hard enough.

Playing with my new, super-cool book made by Grandma for my birthday. Its an amazing activity book with birds in the birdhouse, chicks in the hen, tic-tac-toe, a snowman with do-it-yourself body parts, etc.
