12 Month Update

On her birthday, eating her birthday cupcake.
We are waiting on a CD of pictures from Grandpa Franklin before uploading any more from her birthday. Our camera battery died when she opened her first present so we have slim pickings from the celebration.

In other news, we had Ella's 12 month checkup with Dr. Nunley yesterday. So much for her being on the charts! I think we can kiss that goodbye for good. Length- 32 inches (way above 95th) Weight- 23.3 pounds (75th) The most amazing part is that she grew 2.75 inches in the past 3 months! How does that happen? The nurse measured her twice because she couldn't believe it was true...

Ella's other activities, besides growing like a weed: Talking- hi, dada, mama for sure. Maybe go and come (from walking Hailey), but she says 'guh' and 'cuh'. Walking- not there yet. Too busy to be bothered trying most of the time, but has great balance for standing. She can bounce and wave her arms without sitting down. She's happy crawling. New obsessions- Loves to turn the tv on and off, 'talk' on the phone, use a fork and spoon to eat, put little things in boxes, then open and close the lid a million times, playing with the lid on my Nalgene bottle, rolling around on the bed, screeching, etc.
