Beater for Sale

Also of note in our house these days, the Corolla is up for sale!
(Listing HERE)
The best part of it all...We've gotten 20 (yes, twenty) suckers to reply asking to see the car. And it is NOT RUNNING. I'm guessing Toyota's recent setbacks are not hurting their reputation. Maybe we'll even get full asking price!

Edited to add:

R.I.P. Rolly

Sold today for $400 to a dad and his 17 year-old son as a fixer-upper project. Almost as good as donating to a high school auto shop class, which was what I really wanted to do. Greg (and his siblings) has/have driven this car since 1995, holy cow that is a long time ago. Greg found a map of St. Louis from Gill's college days, along with free chulupa coupons (sound familiar Rich?) that expired in 2002 in the glove box today. We were remembering when this was our "good" car. The car Greg took me out on the town on when I visited him in San Diego. The car he drove all over the freakin' country in, with Hailey as co-pilot. The car that killed it in the snow in KC. The car that I finally learned to drive stick on. Thanks for all the good years, little gold Corolla.

I'm still sad about all the cars I've had to sell in the past :(
