No new photos to post as we've been busy packing and therefore neglecting our kids. :( Some good news to report, though after Quinn's 2 month (10 weeks) checkup at the doctor today.
Length: 24 inches (90th %)
Weight: 15 lb. 10 oz (>95th %)
All around good bill of health. I asked him if he had any advice about getting her to sleep better during the day. He said to just keep doing what we're doing...not exactly the magic pill I was crossing my fingers for! Have I mentioned how exhausting it is to walk a 15 pounder around the house, while trying to keep a 2 year-old occupied? Or how tempting it is to just turn on the t.v. for the 2 year-old to watch ALL DAY so the newborn can have one good day of naps? It is a catch-22, I tell you~ one kid loses either way~ no such thing as a perfect mother when there are two kids to take care of, I guess. We're just trying to weather the storm until Quinn rounds the corner (hopefully some time before Ella did). And, for the record (and verified by our doctor today), the old adage, "No one gets two hard babies" is so not true.
*Edited to add: I just read our family schedule from two weeks ago, and realized that things have improved! Quinn only wakes up once, around 2:00am to eat, then sleeps until 5:00am when I bring her to our bed to doze until Ella wakes up between 6:00am and 7:00am. I need to keep writing down the state of things so I can see our progress~makes me feel so much better!
