2 1/2 Years

Ella at 2 1/2:
-Ridiculously sweet to everyone she loves. Recent quotes: "I love you Mommy the whole world" "Aaawww, I love you, you're the best" "Good night Daddy, I love you" "I love my Doggie" "Isn't Quinny so cute? She's so soft. Her hair is so soft. I love my sister."
-A doting big sister. Always offering up her paci to me, "In case Quinny needs it."
-Hates to hear her sister cry (see above), often covers her ears and says, "No Quinny, stop crying, I don't want her to cry, sssssshhhhhh!!!"
-Loves to "dress up fancy" (see above 2 photos)
-Loves dancing, especially with shoes on, so she can stomp around. I think we need to get her some tap shoes for Christmas. Especially to techno music with her Dad, which she calls "Dance Party Song." Then they run around the living room in circles, stomping their feet.
-Her diet is getting progressively worse. Mostly consisting of fruit, yogurt, Peanut Butter toast, chicken nuggets, fish sticks and homemade waffles (frozens are off the menu, sadly).
-She is starting preschool in 2 weeks! Only one day a week, but better than nothing. We are all pretty excited about that!
-Is a bookworm. Recent favorites include: The Toot and Puddle series by Holly Hobbie, anything Richard Scarry especially Huckle Cat's Busiest Day Ever and Cars and Trucks and Things That Go, Fancy Nancy series, Clifford, Little Bear books, Dr. Suess, especially There's a Wocket in my Pocket, any Mother Goose Rhymes book.
-Puts on her own shoes, and is learning to dress herself. Shorts and pants are usually do-able, shirts not so much.
-Is 99% potty trained during the day. I don't know how to tackle night time training, any ideas?
-Takes stairs one-by-one
-Runs without prancing, occasionally
-And, is a really happy, cheerful, boisterous little girl
